A bomb menu with an amazing happy hour all in DTLA…
I heard about Orchid Bar & Kitchen from my girlfriend and she kept talking about how good their happy hour food menu was, so I had to go back with her and check it out. The Pork Belly Tacos are what she described to me as “EVERYTHING” lol…they are one of the items that are only served during happy hour and it was some of the best pork belly I’ve had especially in a taco. As we were trying out other items on that same mean the tater tots were another big hit that comes with a really tasty dip and makes them more of an experience than just “tater tots”.
I’m from the south so whenever I see shrimp & grits on a menu I can’t help but wonder how good they really are, so of course I ordered it (guilty face). After my first bite, I immediately started tasting tons of favors that were so strong yet delicious. I didn’t care what the favors were because the mouth watering grits only made me eat faster lol.
I’m not a big drinker, but they also had a really cool drink menu that you should checkout as well. As DTLA grows I’m steady playing catch up on all the amazing restaurant finds, old or new. So, here’s another cool place to go visit for an enjoyable evening, located in the heart of all the fun.
