DON’T LIMIT SKINNY JEANS

How to do more with your skinny jeans…

Skinny jeans have come back into the fashion scene over the past 5 years or so. The jeans are usually worn as streetwear with sneakers and t-shirts. I see cool looks from so many people that have mastered the style of the jeans. Today I’m going to show you a dapper look with the skinny jeans that many guys don’t have a chance to see that often.

TOM
The number one question that’s asked is, “When are skinny jeans too tight”? Depending on the body type and size sometime you can get a skinny jean look in a different style jeans. Guys that have more of an athletic build would be more comfortable in a slim fit or even a straight leg cut. These other options fit looser and gives larger gentlemen a taper look without it being an official “skinny jean”
I personally wear a size 30 waist/30 length in pants and most time depending on the brand I’m able to wear a true skinny jean.
I paired the Tom look with a dark green blazer and a fitted light blue dress shirt that has a white collar. The  soft orange necktie with light blue paisley print added a stylish touch to the look.
I matched the same color belt with my brown loafers which is a traditional look. I rarely ever wear black dressy shoes with jeans.
AARON
With the Aaron look I replaced the dress shirt & necktie with floral prints. Wearing a light color dress  shirt with a darker necktie gives that 3D effect and helps with making the outfit standout.
The smallest but most important piece in this look is the gold pocket square. It’s the brightest color in the outfit and compliments the floral prints as well as the dark green jacket.
The green socks adds more personality to the look and they coordinate well with darker green blazer.
NORRIS
Color just simply stands out if done right. I used a fitted green pinstriped dress shirt and a burgundy striped bow tie which gave this outfit a more vibrate feel. The multi colored plaid blazer is the boldest and brightest piece of this look and helps my bow tie pop b/c of its darker tone.
The off white belt with leather tips coordinates with the outfit without being the same color of the shoes, which is a broken rule in traditional menswear.
As I always say, changing up accessories makes all the difference and the tan socks helps balance color in this look. Try not to do too much up top with not enough towards the bottom and vise versa.
