I’m wrapping up the Summer with classic seersucker…
YO WHATS UP!
I had my mind on a pair of seersucker pants all summer long, but never set aside time to get the fabric to make them. I’m so excited to make time for the red seersucker slacks I created from modifying Burda 7046. The pattern comes with one pleat on each side of the front pieces, but I added an additional pleat by applying the slash and spread method my lady taught me right before I started the project.
I gave my seersucker slacks a dapper feel with this look by styling them with a bow tie and my double monk dress shoes. My blazer has a crest on the outside of my breast pocket that gives it more of a preppy look that coordinates with the style of the stripes on my bow tie. This is definitely an event outfit that you can show up and stunk on EVERYBODY!
