DIY: DOPE MEN SEW LATEST STYLE

LEATHER SHORTS + OVERSIZED TEE

Yo what’s up!

Summer is here, and that means it’s time to update your wardrobe with some fresh new pieces. I recently made a cream-colored oversized t-shirt and a pair of red leather shorts, and I absolutely love how they turned out and how they fit on me.

The t-shirt is made from a soft and lightweight knit fabric that’s perfect for summer. I used my unreleased shirt pattern that I will give you more details on once it comes out in stores. It has a relaxed fit and a flattering drape that makes it both comfortable and stylish. I added some simple details to give it a polished look. The cream color is versatile and easy to pair with other pieces in your wardrobe.

Now, let’s talk about the shorts. I used my most recent Simplicity Pattern design 9758 view D. They’re made from a vibrant red faux leather from Melanated Fabrics which are sure to turn heads. Leather shorts are a great way to add a touch of edge to your summer wardrobe, and the bold color adds an extra pop of fun. I kept the design simple with side seam pockets and a single elastic waistband. When paired together, the cream-colored oversized t-shirt and red leather shorts make a statement. The neutral top balances out the boldness of the shorts, creating a look that’s both sophisticated and fun. The outfit is perfect for a summer day out, whether you’re grabbing brunch with friends or exploring the city.

Overall, this DIY project was a fun and creative way to update my summer looks. I enjoyed the process of designing and creating these pieces, and I can’t wait to wear them all season long. If you’re looking for a way to add some personality to your summer wardrobe, I highly recommend giving this DIY project a try.
