DIY PRINT MIXING + CREATING SIMPLICITY 8427 & VINTAGE BUTTERICK 4710

See my latest makes with some print mixing involved…

Yo what’s up!

For those that know me somewhat know that mixing print is my specialty and favorite thing to do when it come to my personal style. My fabric choice is a mixture of striped lightweight fabric from our Melanated Fabrics store and the plaid was from my very own personal stash. In this outfit I used one of my go to shirt patterns Mimi G x Simplicity Men’s 8427 and modified it by making the sleeves short. For the shorts I used a vintage pattern Butterick 4710 I found online a few years back and they work great for many different fabric types. This is a well put together combination for color and tones with nice contract that creates a perfect mixing of prints.
