DIY: PARKA JACKET BY HOT PATTERNS

New modified parka style jacket with street style…

YO WHATS UP!

My lady came across this jacket pattern after searching for hours online because it’s hard to find patterns for men that I want to sew. This pattern is from Hot Patterns and they did a really great job keeping a modern style that works well with today’s trends. I legit be feeling like I’m winning the lottery every time we find dope new patterns for me to sew up.

PATTERN REVIEW

Pattern: Hot Patterns

Pattern Description: Men’s Parka Jacket

Pattern Sizing: small – xx-large (I used a medium)

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were a little confusing, but I was able to figure it out after comparing similar steps to past projects.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I didn’t like that the pattern was lined.

Fabric Used: nylon ripstop

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I didn’t line the jacket as suggested in the instructions.

Would you sew it again? Yes

Would you recommend it to others? Yes
