Please checkout my dope vintage jumpsuit I made…
My vintage jumpsuit is finally done and styled with a cool modern feel to it. With every project I make I’m getting better and even more creative with modifications, because I’m so keen to the details of fit/design change.
I have to give thanks to my girlfriend, teacher, and biggest supporter Mimi G. Style. Its always good to have someone you can pause and ask a question when you want to do something different than what the pattern instructions are telling you. I hope you like it and please leave me comments on how you really feel…lol!
PATTERN REVIEW
Pattern: Simplicity 7052
Pattern Description: Men’s vintage jumpsuit
Pattern Sizing: 36 – waist 30
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done? No
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like the vintage collar but not the wide vintage pant leg.
Fabric Used: Plaid wool
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I enclosed the zipper inside of the front facing instead of on top. I also tapered my pant leg for more of a slimmer fit and I put a cuff on the hem.
Would you sew it again? Yes
Would you recommend it to others? Yes
