An easy DIY project transforming a garment with style…
If you tuned in last week I put up a video as you can see above on how to create an Ivy League style cardigan using ribbons, new buttons, and a couple of iron on appliqués. I do tons of vintage shopping because I can find authentic pieces such as Ivy League blazers and cardigans that have so much uniqueness to them. At times its very hard to find them pieces, so today I’m showing you how creating your very own will give you the same look and its a simple project.
I rocked my new cardigan with a light pink striped dress shirt and a striped necktie that coordinates with the red socks. The navy chino pants I’m wearing is a classic touch and they work well with the Ivy league outfit. Usually I would rock this fit with my classic penny loafers, but I chose to modernize it a bit with the gray tassel loafers.
