I really need to pay more attention to detail when I’m out and about because I seem to have passed up some of the best restaurants in the downtown area and not even know it. Today I’m highlighting Preux & Proper for having everything you want in a restaurant.
It was the weekend and my girl & I wanted to try a new place and Peru & Proper was recommended to us by close friends so we looked it up then found out that it was within walking distance of the office. This place sits on an usual corner kinda similar to streets in San Fransisco which is really cool because it makes a V shape allowing you to see out at both sides of the restaurant you eat. My absolute favorite was the turkey fries with gravy that was pored all the freshly cut and cooked french fries. Their burger and Po’Boy sandwich were also a big hit that day and we still left room for the bomb key lime pie that had this mouth-watering pecan crust.
