An amazing breakfast/lunch spot located in DTLA…
There are so many restaurants popping up in Downtown LA almost every week and there are many that’s been around, but I haven’t had the time to checkout. Today’s Month-Watering Mondays I’m going to take you guys further into DTLA off Wall/7th St. and into a low-key breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant called, “Poppy + Rose”.
I’ve been here a couple times before and first found out about it just by searching the web and looking for a new breakfast spot to eat at one morning. Its located right in the middle of the Flower District and as many times as I’ve been there I never noticed this restaurant. The service is really great and they make it easy by paying at the register first then sitting to enjoy the food. This time around I order the two egg breakfast plate that comes with two eggs any style, brick hash browns, bacon or house sausage, and choice of toast. Since my girl-friend wasn’t very hungry she order the bowl of fruit that was good and fresh with mostly berries.
This is a must go-to spot if you’re ever in DTLA and in need for some serious breakfast or lunch, and anything else in between!
