Many times you have seen me put together blazers and chino pants for a full suit look, and today I matched up a suit jacket with velvet vintage dress slacks. The hardest thing to do when finding a great match is complimenting the textures and once you can do that, coordinating colors should come a little easier. This is a great dapper look for a night out on the town or a cool corporate outfit that might have your boss look at you like he wants to say something, but you have on all the right pieces so you just swag by.

Although this post is about pairing a suit jacket with different slacks the highlight of this look are my bold pink socks…lol. As you noticed time & time before I crop my pants right above my ankles to show off a little more sock personality. Aside from what you want to accomplish with an outfit always remember that accessory pieces are major with showing your personal style. You can have a corporate look and add your own flavor and not look all plain and bland like everyone else!
