Yo Whats Up!

Its been a good minute since I’ve made a waistcoat and the only other time was when I first started to sew (see post here). So I pulled out that very same pattern and tried out a different design that has a lapel added onto the neckline. The lapels made the waistcoat a little more formal, but I was able to casual it down with the tan wooden buttons I placed on it.

This is a nice semi-formal look that gives you just enough dapperness to enter any event with a high level of style. The summer is know for everybody throwing “all white” parties and this outfit would definitely have you standing out in the crowd. This is Simplicity Pattern 4762 and after using it twice already it hasn’t failed me yet. So, if you’re looking to make a nice waistcoat for yourself fellas or if your lady looking to make one for your man, son, etc. its a great one to have.
